Introduction to Fahai Temple: Fahai Temple was founded in the reign of Emperor Wu of the Northern Wei Dynasty (424-452), or in the reign of Emperor Wu of Wei in the Three Kingdoms (155-220). It is located in Yuanyuan Village, Xiazhuang Town, Chengyang District. This temple is one of the ancient temples in Laoshan. Although there are two theories about its founding year, according to the stone Buddha statues unearthed next to the temple in recent years, the temple was originally built in the Northern Wei Dynasty. The temple is a cultural relic protection unit in Qingdao.
