Introduction to the legend of the Princess Building: As for the origin of the Princess Building, there are many versions circulated among the people, among which the story that the Danish prince purchased the land and built the building is the most credible. It is said that in 1929, the prince of the Kingdom of Denmark took a luxury liner to Qingdao for sightseeing. When he came to Zhanshan seaside, he was attracted by the beautiful scenery of Badaguan. In 1931, the Kingdom of Denmark established a consulate in Qingdao, and the first consul at that time was Zhao Hengsheng. The Danish prince commissioned him to purchase land in Badaguan and build a Danish classical building according to the description in Andersen's fairy tale as a gift to the Danish princess. Although the Danish princess did not come to Qingdao later, the name "Princess Tower" still spread like wildfire and was widely circulated.
