Introduction to Daoguang Muling: Daoguang’s mausoleum is called Muling. Located in Longquanyu, 15 kilometers west of Changling Mausoleum of the Western Qing Dynasty, Muling Mausoleum is characterized by its small scale and lack of buildings such as square city, bright tower, large stele pavilion, stone elephant sacrifice, etc. However, its engineering weight is stronger than that of Tai and Chang Erling. The entire fence is made of bricks ground to seams and dry grouting, making the wall flush and strong. Muling has become one of the most distinctive examples of Qing imperial mausoleums with its exquisite and compact architectural model, elegant architectural style, and exquisite nanmu dragon carvings.
