Introduction to the Dismounting Monument: There is a pilgrimage path in front of the mausoleum, which is 840 meters long and 12 meters wide. It leads directly to the Southeast Highway to the south. There are ceremonial trees such as pines, cypresses, elms, and willows on both sides, which set off the solemnity of the ancient mausoleum. There were originally four wooden tablets of dismounting horses on the east and west sides of the north and south ends of the pilgrimage route. In the forty-eighth year of Qianlong's reign (1783), they were changed to stone tablets of dismounting horses. The stele is 5 meters high and has "Zhu Ma" written on both sides in five languages: Manchu, Mongolian, Han, Tibetan and Hui. Officials below the king have dismounted here" to show the Qing Dynasty's "prosperity of unification and common culture".
