Introduction to Sanjiao Nunnery: Sanjiao Nunnery was first built in the Yuan Dynasty to the Zheng Dynasty. It was built on selected land with donations from the gentry surnamed Yang, He and Duan. It is located at the middle foot of Lushan Mountain and is arranged as two courtyards side by side. The hall enshrines statues of Sakyamuni Buddha, Taoist Taishang Laojun and Confucian Confucius, forming a rare and unique landscape of "Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism" coexisting in one nunnery.
On the screen wall in front of the nunnery, there are four large willow characters inscribed "pine, wind, water, and moon". At first glance, they have nothing to do with the three religions, but upon closer inspection, they are common to the three religions. There are four methods of wandering, extraordinary and refined, and sincerity. , self-cultivation and other meanings. Being there is like being baptized by the breeze, pine waves, lake water, and bright moon. Greed and evil thoughts are swept away, and the soul is purified.
