In the mountains of the temple, there are rugged peaks and rocks, and the mountains are covered with maple trees. In the early winter, the forests are dyed with color.
Beside the mountain road to the Yan Temple, there are cliff carvings and small buildings such as "First Mountain", "Cihui Pavilion", "Shizhong Ju" and other handwritings of Song Dynasty calligrapher Mi Fu.
