There are 13 stele pavilions standing in the long and narrow courtyard, 8 in the south and 5 in the north, arranged in two rows, with flying dougongs, high eaves and teeth, yellow tiles shining with gold, row after row. The Thirteen Stele Pavilion was built specifically to preserve the imperial stone steles made by feudal emperors, and is commonly known as the "Imperial Stele Pavilion".
