Introduction to Qiang Watchtowers: In every Qiang village, you can see tall and straight watchtowers. This is an important symbol of Qiang architectural culture. Watchtowers generally have six to seven floors, with the highest reaching fourteen stories. Standing on them, you can see dozens of miles away and serve as a lookout. During the construction of the watchtowers, shooting holes were left around each floor, so that people inside the watchtowers could look out. Shoot and resist the invasion of foreign enemies. The building materials of the watchtowers are mostly local stones or pebbles, and the body of the watchtowers continues to become thinner as the floors increase, thus forming a shape with a small top and a large bottom, ensuring the stability of the watchtowers. Judging from the types of watchtowers, they can be divided into four-corner, hexagonal or octagonal watchtowers, and there are also twelve-cornered watchtowers that are very beautifully built.
