Introduction to Da Ximen: Da Ximen, also known as Shuiting Gate, is the main entrance to Quzhou. The gate is located in the west of the city, facing the Qujiang River. In ancient times, outside the city gate was a large wharf with many sailing ships. The "Qu County Chronicle" of the Republic of China once described it as "the best among the six gates in Qu County". There used to be the famous Emperor Tower in the Emperor Lane of Mennei, but it was demolished in the 1950s due to disrepair.
