Introduction to the Evangelical Church: The Evangelical Church is the oldest church in Bucharest. It was built from 1545 to 1554 during the period of Mircea Chobanu, the Grand Duke of Romania. The church is located in the third district of Bucharest, in the center of the old city and the former site of the old palace.
