Mihai's introduction: The equestrian statue of Archduke Michael is the iconic representative of the city. He completed the unification of the three Romanian principalities for the first time in 1600 and is a hero worshiped by the Romanian people. The statue is made of bronze with a net height of 2.5 meters. It was built in 1876 by the French sculptor Albedo Nestor Carlier.
