Introduction to the National Savings Bank: The National Savings Bank was founded in 1864 by the order of Prince Alexandru Ivan Cuza and completed in 1900. It is an extremely valuable landmark building in Bucharest. Even today, more than a hundred years later, it is still extremely sturdy. It has not undergone major repairs and the bank is still open.
