Introduction to the Capitoline Square: The Capitoline Square (PIazza del Campidoglio) was designed and planned by Pope Paul III at the invitation of Michelangelo in the 16th century. It is separated from the New Palace and Victor Ai in the north. The Mainnu Memorial is adjacent to Piazza Venezia. There are radial patterns on the ground of the square, which cleverly match the surrounding buildings to form a geometric beauty. The main architectural landscapes include the Roman City Hall, the emperor's equestrian bronze statue and three statues of the God of Wisdom, the God of the Tiber River and the Sphinx.
