Introduction to Villa Medici: Villa Medici is located on the top of Pincio Hill above the Plaza de España. It is a private residence purchased by Cardinal Medici. The villa is now home to the French Academy, where many famous musicologists studied, and exhibitions and concerts are held regularly. (Tickets for garden tour and special exhibition are 9 euros, garden tour and bishop's apartment are 11 euros; opening hours are Tuesday to Sunday 10:30-12:30; 14:00-17:30)
