Introduction to the Provincial Chashan Geopark: Chashan is composed of granite and was formed in the late Yanshan period of the Mesozoic Era by multi-layered magma eruptions in the earth. The Chashan rock mass has been uplifted many times and eroded by external forces, forming a unique sea erosion landform. It is a miraculous work under the background of the rifting of the North China and Yangtze plates. It has the rarity and integrity of original land heritage and ecological combination, and is an important base for geological expedition and scientific research.
