Introduction to the Snail Tower: The Snail Tower is located by the Dashuikou of the Hotwater River, echoing the Xianren Bridge. This tower, also known as the hot water tower, was built in the early Yuan Dynasty and is now built in the Qing Dynasty. The entire tower is a six-square, seven-level pavilion-style brick tower with a gourd top and a height of 21 meters. The first level is built with bluestone strips, 1.7 meters high and 14.1 meters in circumference. The second, fourth, fifth and sixth floors have blue brick structures. The lintels on the second, fourth, fifth and sixth floors are respectively engraved with inscriptions such as "Tiankai Wenyun", "Wenchang Pavilion", "Kuiying Lingquan" and "Wenguang Shedou". There are 6 true and false coupon doors between levels, distributed at intervals. According to legend, in ancient times, the "snail spirit" often came to Hotui Town to cause trouble, destroy crops and harm the people, and the people hated it. In order to deal with the "snail spirit", knowledgeable people in Hotwater raised funds from various sources to build the tower. Only then did they suppress the "snail spirit", hence the name of the Snail Tower.
