Introduction to the Chongyang Hall: The Chongyang Hall, also known as the Qizhen Hall, was built to worship Wang Chongyang, the leader of the Quanzhen sect of Taoism, and his disciples, the "Qizhens". The 49 murals in the hall use the form of comic strips to describe the story of Wang Chongyang from his birth to his enlightenment through the "Seven Immortals". The characters on the murals are delicately depicted and have strong artistic appeal, playing an important role in the study of ancient Chinese painting.
