The museum consists of two parts: the museum exhibition building located at the Fortress and the museum administrative building located on the northern hill. The museum's exhibition topics are roughly divided into three parts: the primitive civilization of Macao (first floor), Macao folk art and tradition (second floor), and Macao’s contemporary characteristics (third floor).
