Introduction to Sabah Mosque: City Mosque, located on the shore of Likas Bay (Likas Bay Tawau Park), is a typical contemporary Islamic building and one of the most magnificent mosques with sunset views in Malaysia. It was built on a man-made lake in Likas Bay. It feels as if it is floating on the water, so it is known as the "water mosque". The stunning white building shape is perfectly integrated with the blue sky. It is large in scale, covering an area of one hectare, and can accommodate up to 12,000 believers for prayer.
