She was an adult and her mother wanted to choose a match for her, but neither girl allowed her to marry her. The mother urged her, and the two daughters pointed to the mountains in the south and said, "This is my husband's home." Then he went to live on the top of the mountain. The mother missed her daughter so much that she also went to the mountain to live with her. This incident moved the Jade Emperor, and he inspired the mother and daughter to become immortals. They were all "empresses" and ascended to heaven. Therefore, this mountain is also called Girl Mountain and Husband’s Mountain. This legend reflects the ancient working people's bold pursuit of freedom and happiness, which is magical and moving. From then on, the empress has blessed the people at the foot of the mountain with good weather and a happy life. In gratitude for the empress's kindness, people built temples on the top of the mountain to worship the three empresses. The empress became the protector in everyone's mind.
