Introduction to Santai'an: Chaoyuan Temple, also called Santai'an, is the place where Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism are integrated. It was built during the Shaosheng period of the Northern Song Dynasty and rebuilt in the Ming Dynasty. The name of Guan, because it faces the source of water, is based on the exegesis of the word "Yuan" in the full meaning of the Yi Jing, which means that everything is great and all things are born.
