Introduction to Guanyin Pavilion: This Bodhisattva has eleven faces, each with a different appearance. The eleven faces overlap and are arranged upward, like a small pagoda. The ten sides of the eleven-faced Avalokitesvara represent the ten levels of Mahayana Bodhisattva's practice, and the top Buddha face represents the highest level of Buddhahood. The eleven-faced Jade Guanyin, weighing 260 tons, is exquisitely carved from Burmese white jade and inlaid with more than 10,000 gems, jade and agate. It is dignified, luxurious and solemn.
