Introduction to the Monument with the Character of Longevity: Empress Dowager Cixi of the Qing Dynasty was the "treasure of the imperial pen". During the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty, Cixi bestowed the word "Shou" on Wang Gen, the magistrate of Yazhou (today's Sanya City). Wang Gen built the "Tongshan Hall" in Yazhou City, facing the main peak of Nanshan Mountain, and planted a stele in the hall. The word "Shou" means "Shou is as long as Nanshan".
