It is rumored by the older generation that the Sanyuan City God Temple holds a temple fair every year on August 2 of the lunar calendar. Ancient costume dramas were staged in the theater, with light singing and dancing, and graceful figures; outside the temple, gongs and drums were loud, flags were fluttering, and people from all over the country carried wooden statues of the City God and paraded through the streets.
