Introduction to the Free Life Pool: Originally located on the west side of the Imperial Library in Xiyue Temple, it was a stone oval pool with a width of more than 20 square meters. In the past, before climbing mountains to Chaoyue, religious men and women would often buy fish and throw them into ponds to release them to seek the protection of the Mountain God. The ruins of Jinchi still exist, including the remains of the "release pool" monument.
