Introduction to Jade Emperor Summit: There were originally five main halls here, with the south facing north. It was built during the Wanli period of Emperor Shenzong of the Ming Dynasty and rebuilt in the 11th year of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty. It is dedicated to the Jade Emperor and is flanked by the civil and military heavenly monarchs.
