Introduction to Yunshi Fort: Yunshi Fort is one of the forts in Datong Town of the Great Wall of the Ming Dynasty. It is divided into old and new forts. According to "Sanyun Cazu Kao", Yunshi Old Fort was built with earth in the 38th year of Jiajing reign (1559). Later, due to the high mountains and lack of water, it was difficult to defend and it was too far away from the border to defend. In the 10th year of Wanli period (1582) ) moved to Yunshi New Castle. The new castle is "seven miles long on a Monday and four feet high", and is guarded in the Ming Dynasty. The Great Wall is divided into "ten miles long, with twenty-two side piers and seventeen fire road piers". Yunshi Xinbao is now a village. The brick cladding of the castle has long been demolished, and only the rammed earth walls remain.
