Introduction to the General Bureau of Public Security: The former site of the Shandong Provincial Public Security Bureau (Shen Yu Tang) covers an area of 1,703 square meters and houses the Provincial Public Security Department exhibition room, which comprehensively introduces the glorious history of Shandong Public Security Bureau from its establishment to its growth. In August 1945, when the provincial government was established, the General Bureau of Public Security was established, and Liu Juying, secretary-general of the provincial government, also served as director of the General Bureau of Public Security. In March 1949, the Provincial Public Security Bureau was changed to the Provincial Public Security Department, and in April of the same year, it moved to Jinan with the provincial government.
