Introduction to Century Morning Light: Century Morning Light is one of the landscape symbols in the Century Avenue sculpture series. It is located at the intersection of Century Avenue and Laoshan West Road. Based on the hourglass of ancient Chinese timepieces, nine stainless steel hourglasses with glass columns of different heights are distributed in a parabola to form a planetary trajectory. Every 2 to 5 days, the electric pump will add the missing sand. This rare ancient technology in the world complements the modern architecture of Pudong and is unique.
