Introduction to Oriental Light: Oriental Light is located on the open roundabout at the intersection of Century Avenue and Yanggao Road. It was created by French designers Mr. Charpentier and Mr. Chen Yifei. It is backed by the large square of Century Park. It is based on the original sundial and is made of stainless steel. The pipe grid structure looks majestic, transparent and elegant, reminiscent of distant history. The sundial is small at the top and large at the bottom. The elliptical dial symbolizes the earth, and the midpoint through which the dial needle passes represents China. At the same time, the shape of the overall sculpture looks like some kind of high-tech satellite antenna. According to astronomers' determination, the dial needle points to true north and has a timekeeping function.
