Introduction to the mountain gate: The mountain gate of Jing'an Temple faces south and is integrated with the Tianwang Hall. It has an upper and lower structure. It is veneered with granite, made of teak wood, and has a yellow glazed tile roof. The four words "The Dharma Lives for a Long Time" on the roof ridge reflect the Buddha's intention. The three official Chinese characters "Jing'an Temple" on the forehead were inscribed by the famous calligrapher Mr. Deng Sanmu in 1945 and are still in use today. The couplets engraved on the stone at the main entrance include "May the Buddha hang his hands down" and "Make your heart as calm as ever". The left and right sides of the mountain gate are decorated with a Dharma wheel carved from evergreen bluestone. The second-story cloister has a white marble fence, and inside is the Teak Heavenly King's Hall. A plaque reading "Jing'an Temple" hangs in the middle of the south side of the mountain gate, and the Heart Sutra is engraved on the back of the plaque. The two evergreen stone lions at the entrance are lifelike and majestic.
