Introduction to Yongquan: Yongquan was once one of the "Eight Scenic Spots of Jing'an" in the Southern Song Dynasty, also known as Yongquan and Boiling Well. Its original site was located on Nanjing West Road south of the main entrance of Jing'an Temple today. At the beginning, the spring boiled day and night, resembling a hot spring, and was also known as the eye of the sea. It was said to be deep enough to reach the sea, and was known as the "Sixth Spring in the World."
