Introduction to the Zhou Mansion: The Zhou Mansion is the former site of the CCP delegation in Shanghai. It is the place where Zhou Enlai worked and lived in Shanghai in 1946. It has important historical significance and educational role in revolutionary traditions. In 1979, the old site was repaired, restored to its original appearance, and a memorial hall was established. It was officially opened to the outside world in 1986. In 1998, the Zhou Mansion merged with the Memorial Hall of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China and became a department of the First National Congress Memorial Hall. The collection of cultural relics, materials and photos in the memorial hall are under the unified management of the Custody Department of the Memorial Hall, the site of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China; relevant personnel are also transferred to the First National Congress Memorial Hall for unified arrangement and use. The memorial hall is still relatively independent from the outside world and is mainly responsible for the protection of the old site and the opening of receptions.
