Introduction to Shark Bay: This is a paradise for sharks, and sharks from all over the world gather here. Sharks generally inhabit the sandy bottom near lagoons or coral reefs. They often hide in shelters to rest during the day and go out to patrol at night. Due to its small mouth, unlike ordinary sharks that devour and hiss prey, they eat by sucking. They mainly rely on their keen sense of smell to learn about food. There is a pair of trembling nose tentacles on the front edge of their nostrils to detect the location of the food, and then inhale quickly with one puff of air. Enter prey. Nurse sharks are quite docile and pose no life threat to humans.
