Introduction to One Xintiandi: One Xintiandi is located in Building 1, Lane 181, Taicang Road, Xintiandi Beili Plaza. The building originally belonged to Jurenli and was built in the early twentieth century. The designer was L.S.ZIA. It is a mixed structure building with a four-story main building. In the mid-20th century, Taicang Road was home to the Four Treasures of the Study shop. This large building changed hands frequently, and its earliest owner is unknown. In 2001, Xintiandi One was restored to its former glory and is now the clubhouse of the Hong Kong Shui On Group, the developer of Xintiandi. In the entire Xintiandi Plaza, "Xintiandi Club No. 1" is the most intact building. This four-story building is not a Shikumen house. Its appearance is a "longtang mansion"-style building, which is now quite rare among old-fashioned residences in Shanghai.
