Introduction to Xinzha Bridge: Xinzha Bridge was built in 1735 and can be called the first bridge on the Suzhou River. The unique thing about the name of Xinzha Bridge is that it has the word "Xinzha" but not the word "路". Xinzha Bridge was demolished and rebuilt from November 1999 to the end of 2000. The reconstructed new gate bridge has a through-type steel truss arch bridge on the upper part and a wooden pile-based gravity platform on the lower part, similar in shape to the Zhejiang road bridge. The Xinzha Bridge is 70 meters long and 16.5 meters wide. It has no piers in the water and a 53-meter steel beam spanning directly across the opposite bank. It is a non-motor vehicle pedestrian bridge.
