Introduction to Er Dongqiang’s Studio: Photographer Er Dongqiang’s studio was once one of the most active exhibition venues in Tianzifang. In this art space, hundreds of cultural activities have been held for more than 10 years, including poetry Readings, literary salons, painting exhibitions, photography exhibitions, live music performances, etc. have gradually made this place a highly active cultural landmark in Shanghai. In October 2012, Er Dongqiang Studio had no choice but to bid farewell to Tianzifang because it could not afford the rent.
