Introduction to "Chongzhen Almanac" and "Xu's Pao Yan": In 1633, Xu Guangqi was critically ill and could not bear to die. At this time, he had completed the review of most of the "Chongzhen Almanac". The compilation of the "Chongzhen Almanac" laid the foundation for China's astronomical legislation in the past 300 years, which is of epoch-making significance. Faced with the situation of poverty, weakness and constant foreign invasion in the late Ming Dynasty, Xu Guangqi was concerned about the country and the people, and put forward the political proposition of "making the country rich and its army strong". He compiled many good articles on military training and management, and compiled them into "Xu's Cooking Statement". The museum displays models of cannon parts imported from the West under his strong advocacy.
