When Yu Garden was renovated in 1959, private houses were demolished, stones were dug into the pool, and a pavilion was built in the north of the pool, named "Nine Lions Pavilion". There is a platform in front of the pavilion, where you can lean on the railing and watch the lotus flowers in the pond.
