Introduction to the Caixi District Trade Union: In late November 1933, Chairman Mao went to Caixi for the third time to conduct a social survey. At that time, Chairman Mao lived in the east wing of the district trade union. The trade union in Caixi District held an investigation meeting of workers' representatives, representatives of poor peasants, and field captains, which fully reflected the mass line of doing everything for the people, relying on the people, coming from the people, and going to the people. In 1985, the Fujian Provincial People's Government announced it as the second batch of cultural relics protection units. In 2013, it was announced by the State Council as the seventh batch of national key cultural relics protection units.
