Introduction to Wanfo Cave: was formed 200 million years ago. As the water cuts, the riverbed drops, and the hole rises higher and higher, suspended in the air. What is amazing is that there is a stalactite in the cave, with a head and a face, a big belly, hanging high in the air, which looks like a Maitreya Buddha. Under the Maitreya Buddha lies a ten thousand-year-old turtle, and next to it is a Guanyin Bodhisattva, gentle and kind-hearted.
