Introduction to the former site of Qifengyan Gaogan’s confinement room: In Qifeng Village, Huangshi Township, Shangrao County, the confinement room is located in Qifeng Temple. It is said that this temple was built by Zen Master Jingkong in the Tang Dynasty. The current building was renovated in the early years of the Republic of China. The Zen temple consists of a mountain gate, a main hall, left and right side chambers, a patio, and a cave, spread out along the central axis. The overall layout is to surround the cave on three sides, southeast and west, forming a closed structure. Among those detained here is Commander Ye Ting. Zhang Zhengkun, commander of the third detachment of the New Fourth Army, Feng Dafei, deputy captain of the teaching corps, and Li Zifang, director of the Organization Department of the Military Political Department, analyzed senior officers of the Fourth Army. There are currently 4 large and small confinement rooms at the old site.
