Introduction to Jiming Temple: Jiming Temple in Shanwei City was built in the sixth year of Chongzhen in the Ming Dynasty (1633). It was founded by the eminent monk Yin Zhen to raise funds from the merchants of the Jin gentry in Heyi. The original site was at the foot of the Lotus Mountain, 5 miles opposite the temple. Because Ciren often heard the crow of roosters in Jixin Mountain at dawn, he thought it was auspicious and moved to this site. Now Jiming Temple has begun to take shape, and the magnificent and solemn Mahavira Hall has been built, in which the Three Treasures Buddha is enshrined. It has successively built the Waishan Gate, the Three Masters' Pavilion, the Zen Room, the Bell and Drum Tower, and the Vegetarian Restaurant, covering an area of about 50,000 square meters. The "Jiming Temple" on the mountain gate archway was inscribed by Zhao Puchu, a famous calligrapher and former president of the Chinese Buddhist Association, and there are also couplets inscribed by famous calligraphers such as Shi Dingzhi, Zhu Fan, and Yu Zaohua.
