Introduction to Fuxing Tower: Fuxing Tower was built in the sixth year of Wanli (1578). It was originally the Fuxing Pavilion. During the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty, it was rebuilt into the Wenxing Pavilion. In the fourth year of Tongzhi (1865), it was rebuilt into a stone pagoda, named Fuxing Pagoda. It was bombed during the Cultural Revolution. The current tower was rebuilt in 1981. From the top of the tower, you can have a panoramic view of the entire Jieshi area and the vast South China Sea. "Jetai Viewing the Sea" is one of the eight scenic spots in Lufeng.
