Introduction to the Qilin Stone with its head raised: The Qilin Stone is located next to the Fuxing Pagoda of Yuanshan Temple in Xuanwu Mountain. Its shape is majestic and graceful, as if a unicorn is looking at the sea with its head raised, so it is known as the "Lin Stone with its head raised" and is one of the eight scenic spots in Xuanwu Mountain. On the east side of Qilin Stone is the inscription "The mountain is not high" written by Deng Wanlin, the envoy of Zhenjie in the 16th year of Guangxu's reign in the Qing Dynasty (1890).
