Archway introduction: Like Xiamen Castle, Shijiagou is also a mountain bunker village, which is mainly composed of cave-shaped houses stacked on top of each other. The difference is that Shijiagou is not close to the river. Shijiagou was built during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty instead of the chaotic times of the late Ming Dynasty. Therefore, its defensive nature is slightly weaker. Even so, the periphery of the village is tall and closed, and there is a tall gate at the entrance of the village. The kiln wall blocks the way up the hillside where Bao Village is located. If you want to enter the village, you have to go through a 20-meter-long tunnel. It is said that there are secret passages and underground caves connecting the courtyards in the village.
