According to legend, the Queen Mother went out to play and passed over Chuzhou when she discovered the rich natural resources, outstanding people and beautiful scenery. So she stopped to enjoy the scenery and accidentally dropped a handkerchief on the ground in Chuzhou, thus creating Spoon Lake.
