Introduction to Shengrong Temple: Shengrong Temple was first built in the first year of Baoding in the Northern Zhou Dynasty (561 AD). It was first named Ruixiang Temple. When Emperor Yang of the Sui Dynasty came to visit the temple, it was renamed "Gantong Temple". When the Tubo Empire ruled Hexi , it was renamed Shengrong Temple to this day.
