Introduction to Longze Temple: According to legend, in the late Northern Song Dynasty, the general guarding Yifeng City realized during his military career that "the way of martial arts is not the final weapon." War is only a means, not an end, so he set up a Dharma hall at home and hired monks to give lectures at home, teach scriptures and practice Buddhism, and pray for peace in the midst of war. The general was so moved by Kong's teachings that he invited more friends, officials, and gentry to share the Dharma. Later, more and more people listened and donated money to build the temple. The general asked Kong to name it, and Ling Kong was grateful for the kindness of Shenlong Mountain, so he named it "Longze Temple". Therefore, the eminent monk Lukong began to preach and lecture in Yifeng City, spreading Buddhism widely and making the incense flourish.
