Introduction to the sacred tree: The so-called sacred tree is actually a rare red pine in the Northeast, which is more than 1,300 years old. The tree is 26 meters high, with a crown diameter of about 2 meters and 36 main branches. The trunk and main branches are orange-red. It is said that as early as more than 300 years ago, when the Battle of Sarhu was about to begin, Nurhachi personally led the soldiers of the Eight Banners to pay homage to this tree. From then on, the soldiers of the Eight Banners gained great momentum, defeated the Ming army in one fell swoop, and won a series of battles in Saarhu and beyond. During the Japanese and puppet rule, the Japanese tried to cut down all the forests here, but when they cut down this ancient tree, blood-like pulp flowed out from the saw. Therefore, the Japanese stopped cutting down and this thousand-year-old tree was preserved.
